The Supreme Court of Mongolia and the Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the Twinning Project and with funding from the European Union, organized a training program titled “Law Application Techniques” on October 5–6, 2026.

The training was led by Dr. Arnd Weishaupt, Presiding Judge at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, Germany, and Uwe Stark, Judge at the Local Court in Siegen, Germany. The judges shared their knowledge and experience of legal reasoning methods used in German judicial practice through a combination of theoretical instruction and practical exercises.

The training covered topics including the subsumption method, case analysis methodology, legal application methodology, and the law of evidence. Participants also engaged in discussions based on practical case examples.

A total of 43 judges participated in the training and received certificates of completion.
