The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, in collaboration with the Judicial Institute of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), concluded the third edition of the distance learning course entitled “Introductory Intellectual Property for Judges.” The online course commenced on May 18, 2026, and concluded today, September 11, with a concluding meeting.

Dr. D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, served as the course tutor. During the concluding meeting, she reinforced the participating judges’ knowledge of the eight core modules, answered their questions, and facilitated an open discussion.

The eight-week distance learning course was previously completed by 63 judges in 2024 and 20 judges in 2025, who were awarded certificates upon completion. In this third edition, 24 judges took the final examination. Judges who successfully pass the examination will be awarded certificates by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
