The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy of Mongolia, in collaboration with the Justice Academy of the Republic of Türkiye, organized a judicial experience-sharing program in Istanbul from April 6 to 9, 2026.
The program was opened by S. Zayadelger, Chief of Secretariat of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, and Hasan Kadir Yılmaztekin, Head of the Training Department of the Justice Academy of Türkiye. During the opening, they emphasized that the partnership between the two judicial academies has reached a new milestone, expanding beyond traditional training sessions to include a judge-researcher exchange program.
This training session specifically addressed cybercrime, including methodologies for collecting and analyzing digital evidence, and the legal complexities of adjudicating fraud and theft cases involving cryptocurrency. In the field of civil law, the curriculum focused on the specialized court system for consumer rights protection, unfair competition, and modern developments in comparative law.
Also, the program covered crimes related to the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Participants engaged in experience-sharing sessions with judges from the Court of Cassation and the Regional Courts of Appeal of Türkiye regarding the implementation of international treaties and conventions, prosecutorial oversight during investigations, and the evaluation of evidence in accordance with the practices of the European Court of Human Rights.
A total of 22 judges from the criminal and civil courts of first instance and appellate levels participated in the program, gaining direct insight into the Turkish judicial system and the operations of its specialized courts.
