Training on “Key Issues in Adjudicating Human Trafficking Crimes Committed in Cyberspace” Concludes

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, in cooperation with World Vision and The Asia Foundation, and with funding from the U.S. Department of State, successfully concluded a three-session training program titled “Key Issues in Adjudicating Human Trafficking Crimes Committed in Cyberspace” on January 30, 2026.

The training was conducted in three rounds and was attended by judges from the courts of first instance and courts of appeal specializing in criminal and civil cases.
The program was delivered by N. Odontuul, Judge of the Circuit Court of Simplified Criminal and Civil Cases of the District and B. Bataa, Judge of the Circuit Court of Simplified Criminal and Civil Cases of the District; Z. Turbold, Police First Lieutenant and Lead Detective of the Cybercrime Division of the Criminal Police Department; and U. Munkhsoyombo, Police First Lieutenant and Senior Specialist of the Innovation and Development Division under the Strategy, Policy, Innovation and Development Department, served as trainers and led the sessions on the following topics.The training covered the following topics:
- Fundamental concepts and characteristics of human trafficking crimes committed in cyberspace
- Digital traces and electronic (digital) evidence
- Electronic evidence in cases of human trafficking committed in cyberspace
- Legal qualification issues related to human trafficking crimes committed in cyberspace



The training sessions were held on January 15, 22, and 30, 2026, with more than 100 judges participating and receiving certificates upon completion.
