DELEGATES FROM THE JUDICIAL ACADEMY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM PAID A WORKING VISIT TO MONGOLIA

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy of Mongolia hosted a delegation from the Judicial Academy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for a working visit from May 6 to 10, 2025. The visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices between the two institutions.

A highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two judicial academies. This agreement marks a significant milestone in their relationship and paves the way for future cooperation in Judicial training, research, and academic exchange.

During the visit, Director of the Judicial Academy of Mongolia Ms. D. Erdenechimeg, Head of the Training Center Ms. G. Khaliunaa, and Academic Secretary Ms. B. Dulguun delivered a detailed presentation on the structure, organization, and activities of their institution. They also responded to inquiries from the Vietnamese delegation and engaged in productive discussions to exchange relevant information and insights.

As part of the visit, the Vietnamese delegation familiarized themselves with the operations of the Judicial Academy of Mongolia and visited several judicial institutions including the Supreme Court of Mongolia, the Administrative Court of Appeals, the Administrative court of First Instance in Capital, the Circuit Court of Criminal and Civil small claim procedure and the Criminal and Civil Court of Appeal of Tuv province. These visits provided the delegation with valuable insights into the organizational structure, jurisdiction, and operations of the Mongolian judiciary, as well as statistical data regarding case management and court performance.

Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to visit significant historical and cultural landmarks in Mongolia, including the ancient city of Kharkhorum in Uvurkhangai Province, the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue Complex, and the Chinggis Khaan National Museum.

This visit not only strengthened professional ties between the two academies but also fostered mutual respect and collaboration in the field of judicial development.
