Director D.Erdenechimeg of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Institute (JTRII) and G.Haliunaa, Head of the Training Center of the JTRII met with judge-trainers who will organize workshop on intellectual property rights enforcement in Ulaanbaatar on 11 Sep 2023.

  At the meeting, Ms.Virginia Covington, District Judge of the Middle District of Florida, Mr. Michael J.Frank Chief Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Mr. Mark Abumeri, Attorney-Advisor, Office of Policy and International Affairs, US Patent and Trademark Office, Mr.James S.Yoon, International Computer Hacking & IP Attorney-Advisor for Asia, U.S. Department of Justice, Mr. Michael Richmond, Senior Commercial Specialist, US Embassy and Ms.Altantsetseg Myagmar, officer at the Commercial Division, US Embassy were in present.

 During the meeting, Director D.Erdenechimeg expressed gratitude for the efforts in conductry the workshop and opportunity in exchanging judicial experience in adjudicating cases in the field of intellectual property. Parties discussed about key points that to be raised during the “Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement Workshop” which is going to be organized on 13 Sep 2023 and shared general procedures in litigating intellectual property cases in two countries.
