Training concludes on the establishment of facts at courts

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, in collaboration with the project "Effective Implementation of Judicial Reform in Mongolia" (TWINNING), successfully organized a training session titled " Establishment of facts at courts " from April 27 to 30, 2026. The training was conducted in two shifts to ensure comprehensive coverage.


At the opening, Ts. Tsogt, Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, Adrien Mourgues, Head of Cooperation at the Delegation of the European Union to Mongolia, and Christoph Kopecky, Resident Twinning Advisor, highlighted the significance of the training and wished success to the participants.

The training is being led by Dr. Arnd Weishaupt, Presiding Judge at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, Germany, and Uwe Stark, Judge at the Local Court of Siegen. They are providing instruction on topics such as "Perception, Memory, Retrieval of Information," " The lie - between lies and errors/mistakes", " Interrogation theory: questioning techniques, tactics and types of questions, sources of error". A total of 60 judges successfully completed the training, gaining valuable insights into international best practices for judicial fact-finding.
