Special issue of "Psychology in your life" magazine released for judges

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, the Mongolian Bar Association, and the Mongolian Psychologists Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 6, 2026. Within the framework of this MoU, the parties are implementing a phased program of training sessions aimed at supporting and specializing judges in the field of psychological health.
As part of this collaboration, a "Judge trainers" session titled "Supporting the Psychological and Cognitive Development of Judges" was organized on April 3, 2026. Following this initiative, the parties have jointly published the April 2026 special issue of "Psychology in Your Life" magazine, on the theme "Judicial Well-being and the psychological health of judges."

This issue features an interview with D. Batbaatar, Head of the Mongolian Bar Association and Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, titled "Psychological Health of Judges: A Cornerstone of Judicial Independence." It also includes articles such as "Judicial Well-being" by G. Nyamsuren, Judge of the Capital City Civil Appeals Court, and "Judges are human too" by B. Dulguun, Academic Secretary of the Judicial Academy. Furthermore, the issue contains over 10 more articles and research papers covering topics such as burnout syndrome in judges, psychological well-being and resilience, and methodologies for judicial assessment of psychological damage caused by peer bullying.
The parties plan to organize the next stage of training to support the psychological health of judges in May 2026.
