Law students from Otgontenger University visited Judicial academy

Second-year students of the School of Law at Otgontenger University visited the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy on April 16, 2026, to gain firsthand experience of its operations and the activities of the Supreme Court of Mongolia.

During the visit, students gained practical insights into the live-streaming process of Supreme Court sessions and its significance in ensuring transparency. They were introduced to the courtroom layout, professional protocols, and the code of conduct for participants. Also students visited the court’s information and inquiry, the judicial library, and the historical hall.

As part of the event, Judge G. Urangua of the Administrative Court of First Instance in the Capital City shared her professional experiences in a talk titled “Character of the Judicial Profession.” Additionally, E. Baasanbyamba, Head of the Criminal Law Sector at the Judicial Academy, presented on the “Mongolian Judicial System,” and E. Nominsogoo, Researcher of Constitutional and International Law, delivered a lecture on “Protecting Commercial Secrets in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The sessions concluded with an interactive Q&A where students engaged with the speakers on various legal topics.
