TRAINING PROGRAM ON SUPPORTING JUDICIAL PSYCHOLOGY AND COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT HELD

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, the Judges Association of Mongolia, and the Mongolian Psychological Association, a training session titled “Supporting Judicial Psychology and Cognitive Development” was organized for judge-trainers, April 3, 2026.  

The training was led by Dr. B. Enkhbayar, Associate Professor and Director of the School of Humanities at Otgontenger University; Dr. Sh. Dorjkhand, Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology at Shihihutug University; and lecturers D. Purevsuren and A. Taivanjargal. The program’s curriculum focused on cultivating positive psychology, preventing burnout syndrome, and developing resilience, while also covering specialized topics such as identifying false testimonies and false memories.

The training was attended by judge-trainers led by Justice G. Banzragch and Justice P. Soyol-Erdene of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, along with representatives from various appellate and first-instance courts.

This training is of significant importance for ensuring the psychological stability tailored to the unique professional demands of judges and for further deepening the pedagogical methodology of judge-trainers.
