Memorandum of Understanding Established with the International Intellectual Property Law Research Center under the Patent Court of the Republic of Korea

On February 27, 2026, the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Academy of Mongolia established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through a virtual signing ceremony with the International Intellectual Property Law Research Center (IIPRC) under the Patent Court of the Republic of Korea.
The MoU was signed by D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy of Mongolia, and Chief Judge Kyu-Hyun HAN of the Patent Court of the Republic of Korea.

Under the framework of this MoU, both parties agreed to cooperate on the legal front by hosting two Mongolian judges as researchers at the IIPRC annually, facilitating the exchange of judges, researchers, and court specialists, and providing mutual support for participation in international conferences and symposiums. Furthermore, the agreement covers the implementation of visiting researcher exchange programs and the mutual provision of training materials, translation services, and other essential information.
The signing ceremony was attended by B. Dulguun, Head of the Research Center; G. Khaliunaa, Head of the Training Center; and S. Nasanjargal, Head of the Information Center of the Judicial Academy; as well as Z. Gerelmaa, Foreign Relations Officer of the Supreme Court of Mongolia. Representing the Republic of Korea were Vice Chief Judge Taeksoo JUNG, Director of the IIPRC; Presiding Judge Young Gi KIM; Judicial Administrative Support Judge Joungwoon YUN; and Jinhang YU, Head of the Administrative Bureau.
