Training of Trainers Program and Leadership Program for Chief Judges to Be Implemented

The head of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy and the National Judicial Institute of Canada held an online meeting today, February 10, 2026.

The meeting was attended by D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Academy; G. Khaliunaa, Head of the Training Center; and S. Nasanjargal, Head of the Information Center. Representing the National Judicial Institute of Canada were Judge Tom Crabtree, Executive Director; Pamela Tripp, Director of International Education at the National Judicial Institute of Canada; and Florence La Charite-Harbec and Maria Belen Valladares.

Within the framework of cooperation under the “Equal Justice for All” (EJAM) project, implemented jointly with the Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs of Canada, the parties agreed to organize a Training of Trainers program for Chief Judges and family court trainers, as well as a Leadership Program for Chief Judges at all court levels, to be held from April 13–17, 2026.

These training programs will be submitted for discussion at the meeting of the Judicial Academy’s Curriculum Committee.

The “Equal Justice for All” project will be implemented during 2025–2030 and aims to support citizen-centered judicial reform by strengthening judicial independence, transparency, and accountability.
