Memorandum of Understanding Signed to promote judges mental health

The Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, the Mongolian Judges Association, and the Mongolian Psychological Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 6, 2026, to cooperate in promoting judges’ mental health. The Memorandum was signed by D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy; D. Batbaatar, Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia and President of the Mongolian Judges Association; and Sh. Batsukh, President of the Mongolian Psychologists Association.

Within the framework of this cooperation, the parties agreed to further enhance the professional specialization of psychological trainer-judges prepared in 2025 at the initiative of the Mongolian Judges Association; to organize a training program in April 2026 aimed at supporting judges’ mental well-being; and to jointly publish a special issue for judges in the “Psychology in Your Life” series magazine published by the Mongolian Psychological Association.
The signing ceremony was attended by judge-trainers specializing in judicial mental health, including A. Sarangerel and B. Adiyaasuren, Judge of the Appellate Court for Administrative Cases; G. Nyamsuren, Judge of the Appellate Court for Civil Cases of Capital City; and Ts. Munkhtulga, Judge of the Capital City Criminal Court of Appeal. Also present were G. Khaliunaa, Head of the Training Center of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, and A. Taivanjargal, Psychologist of the Mongolian Psychologists Association.
