The Second “Doctor–Judge” Knowledge-Sharing Open Forum Held

As part of the “Doctor–Judge” knowledge-sharing open forum initiated and implemented by the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, Judge Nyamdorj Odontuul of the District Criminal and Civil Simplified Procedure Court of First Instance, Ph.D., was invited as a guest speaker.
During the forum, she presented her doctoral research entitled “Legal Regulation and Implementation of Compulsory Medical Measures”, followed by an open and in-depth discussion with participants.

The research was supervised by Dr. (Ph.D.), Associate Professor B. Enkhbold, Member of the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia. It was highlighted that this study represents the first comprehensive research conducted in Mongolia on this subject, thoroughly examining judicial practice, the personal circumstances of individuals subjected to compulsory medical measures, the relevant legal norms governing such relations, and comparative foreign experiences. The research also put forward a number of valuable and practical recommendations.

Notably, the researcher analyzed 101 out of 114 cases in which compulsory medical measures were applied, and the findings and conclusions drawn from this extensive case analysis clearly demonstrate the high quality and academic rigor of the study.
