Second Phase of the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Distance Training for Judges Successfully Conducted

During the working visit of the Mongolian delegation to Geneva, Switzerland, from 14–17 November 2023 headed by D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy; and Supreme Court Justices M. Batsuuri and D. Batbaatar the delegation held a bilateral meeting with Mr. Marco Alemán, Deputy Director General in charge of the WIPO Judicial Institute. During the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement.
Within the framework of this cooperation, WIPO proposed to include Mongolian judges in its distance training program designed specifically for members of the judiciary. The first round of the training was successfully organized in 2024, with 62 judges completing the program and receiving certificates issued by WIPO.

The second round of the training was held today, 20 November 2025, and was conducted under the guidance of WIPO tutor and instructor, Dr. D. Erdenechimeg.

A total of 26 judges participated in this second round of training 14 in person and 12 online all of whom successfully completed the final assessment.
