Study on “Overview of Criminal Cases Adjudicated by Courts in the Capital City” Presented in Ulaanbaatar

A discussion forum themed “Reducing Crime and Preventing Offences in Ulaanbaatar City” was jointly organized on November 4, 2025, by the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy (JTRIA), the National Legal Institute, the General Police Department, and the “Askhan” Association of Legal Psychology NGO.

During the event, Mr. E. Baasanbyamba, Head of the Criminal Law Department of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, presented the study titled “Overview of Criminal Cases Adjudicated by Courts in the Capital City.”

Dr. D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Academy, emphasized in her remarks that “crime prevention efforts must be based on active cooperation among government and non-governmental organizations as well as citizen engagement.”

The forum provided an opportunity for participants to exchange views on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in crime and offence prevention, enhancing public safety, and introducing innovative approaches. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers at the conclusion of the event.
