Mongolian Delegation Attends the 11th International Conference on Judicial Training

D. Munkhtuya, Presiding Judge of the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court of Mongolia, and D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Academy, participated in the 11th International Conference on Judicial Training, held in Seoul, South Korea, from November 9 to 15, 2024. The event was co-organized by the International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT) and the Judicial Research and Training Institute of South Korea, under the theme:
"Judicial Reform: Preparing for the Future – Human Rights, Technology, and Effective Training Methods."
The conference brought together judicial educators, judges, and legal experts from around the world to discuss key topics, including:
Judicial education on human rights and social diversity (addressing issues related to gender, ethnicity, religion, disabilities, national divisions, and pandemic challenges).
- Judicial training in the digital age (covering virtual and hybrid court hearings and advancements in legal education).
- Strengthening judicial institutions and addressing AI-related legal issues, including:
- The role of AI and ChatGPT in the judiciary
- Ethical considerations of AI in judicial decision-making
- Innovative training methodologies (adapting to rapid technological advancements in a changing world).
- The impact of climate change on judicial education.
- Enhancing global judicial cooperation and strengthening IOJT member collaboration.
