On July 2, 2024, Erdenechimeg D., Director of the Judicial Academy, hosted a formal meeting with Ms. Jane Sargus, Executive Director of the Open World Leadership Center under the U.S. Congress; Ms. Maura Shelden, Deputy Executive Director of the Center; Ms. Nomintsetseg M., Political Specialist at the U.S. Embassy; and Mr. Tserendagwa B., Officer for the Alumni and Specialist Program in the Public Relations Department.

   The meeting also included Ms. Khaliunaa G., Head of the Training Center of the Judicial Academy, along with judges who have participated in the "Open World" program. The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration with courts and legal institutions at all levels, and on the importance of incorporating the insights gained from the program into Mongolia’s judicial practices.

   Since the inception of the "Open World" program—established under the cooperation memorandum between the Judicial General Council of Mongolia and the Open World Leadership Center—over 70 participants from Mongolia have actively engaged in the program. This initiative is centered on examining best practices in U.S. court operations and strategies for ensuring judicial impartiality and independence.
