PROGRESS MEETING FOR THE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED

   On July 5, 2024, the Judicial Academy held a successful progress meeting for the eight-week Distance Learning Course on Intellectual Property, organized in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The meeting took place in person, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to discuss their learning experiences.

   A total of 146 judges from across Mongolia participated in the course, which was delivered through the Electronic System for Judge Training. The course comprised eight comprehensive modules, each focusing on a key aspect of intellectual property law. These modules included:

Module I: Intellectual Property Rights

Module II: Copyright and Related Rights

Module III: Trademarks

Module IV: Patents

   Participants engaged in a thorough exploration of these topics, enriching their understanding through guided discussions with the course tutor.

During the progress meeting, participants reviewed the content of the remaining modules:

Module V: Geographical Indications

Module VI: Trade Secrets

Module VII: Product Designs

Module VIII: Advanced Intellectual Property

   The meeting facilitated an in-depth examination of these advanced topics, allowing judges to further refine their expertise in intellectual property law.

   The training was successfully administered via the Electronic System for Judge Training.
