SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE NATIONAL JUDICIAL COLLEGE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
2024-06-04 АдминJune 3, 2024 –D. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Institute, Ch. Hosbayar, Head of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, and N. Bayarmaa, Judge of the Supreme Court, welcomed and met with Benes Z. Aldana, President and CEO of the National Judicial College of the United States of America. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Judicial Training, Research, and Information Institute of Mongolia and the National Judicial College of the United States of America, signifying a mutual commitment to fostering the development of judicial education.
The signing ceremony was led by G. Haliunaa, Head of the Training Center, while Ch. Hosbayar, Head of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, delivered an opening remark.
The parties agreed to collaborate on and undertake joint initiatives towards improving the professional competence of judges through professional development trainings, experience sharing workshops, as well as joint meetings and discussions, as set forth in the MoU.
During the ceremony, Benes Z. Aldana, President and CEO of the National Judicial College of the United States of America emphasized that the MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to facilitate the exchange of best practices and strengthen the friendly relations between the two organizations through educational programs tailored to meet the needs of the judges.
Furthermore, the discussions included the main functions and activities of both organizations, with a focus on specific activities to be implemented jointly as well as potential areas for expanding the scope of cooperation.
