"DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FOR JUDGES” HAS BEEN  INTEGRATED INTO THE JUDGES' ELECTRONIC LEARNING SYSTEM

   The Judicial Training, Research, and Information Institute is opening distance learning course on intellectual property for judges through the "Judge Electronic Training System" starting from May 10, 2024 within the framework of the cooperation agreement with the World Intellectual Property Organization. Ms. Altaye Tedla, Head of eLearning and Internal Training of the WIPO Academy delivered opening remarks for the launch of the training.

   A total of 146 judges are enrolled in the course. Judges who are taking this course are advised to  navigate to the "e-learning" menu on the Electronic platform for judges' training and access the course under the sub-menu "WIPO". The course is comprised of eight modules, with each module scheduled to last for one week, totaling 8 weeks. Dr. Erdenechimeg, Director of the Judicial Training, Research and Information Institute, will serve as tutor for this course.

   Judges are able to contact the tutor using the link provided on the Electronic Platform for Judges’ Training during the course to initiate discussions on the each module.
